Thomais Baltzi ACIArb

“Hello! I’m Thomai Baltzi, a mediator and legal professional dedicated to helping individuals and organizations resolve disputes with fairness and respect. I combine legal training with a strong background in social work and criminology to guide parties toward clear, practical, and lasting solutions.”

Thomai is a qualified civil and commercial mediator with an advanced academic background in law and international dispute resolution. She holds a BA in Social Work, an MA in Criminology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) and a BVC (LLM underway) from The City St George’s Law School. She has also undertaken postgraduate studies in Global Business Law at Columbia Law School, focusing on topics in International Arbitration. Her academic work reflects a strong commitment to procedural integrity, cross-border dispute resolution, and commercial fairness.

As a mediator, Thomai focuses on constructive negotiation and collaborative problem-solving. She facilitates open dialogue between parties, aiming to reach outcomes that preserve relationships and avoid costly litigation. Her approach emphasizes clarity, neutrality, and efficiency.

Thomai’s expertise covers civil and commercial disputes. She brings experience from court-based social work and legal support roles, where she managed complex cases, drafted reports, and coordinated with legal teams. This dual perspective strengthens her understanding of both the human and procedural sides of conflict resolution.

Thomai is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) and participates actively in professional networks including Young ITA and YIAG. Her legal training and mediation practice are supported by experience in case preparation, legal analysis, and negotiation within civil and commercial contexts.

Fluent in English, Greek, and Italian, she offers mediation services to a broad range of clients in both domestic and international matters.
